Meet our Leadership Team
Rex Cooper, Director of Information Technology
Rex Cooper, a proud Wildcat and Taft native, brings his passion for technology back to the community he calls home. A 2023 TUHS graduate and former ASB President, he earned an A.S. in Network Engineering from Santa Barbara City College in 2025. Rex has experience in network engineering, cybersecurity, systems administration, and technology projects. He enjoys golfing and staying involved in the Taft community.
Stacey Stansberry, Dir. of Instructional Services
Stacey Stansberry has proudly served TUHSD since 2016 and brings more than 30 years of experience in education. A longtime Kern County educator, she earned her bachelor’s degree and a master’s in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Educational Technology from CSU Bakersfield. She is committed to high-quality learning and collaboration with students, staff, families, and the community. Outside of work, Stacey enjoys time with her husband, two daughters, and two grandchildren.
Wesley Coble, Buena Vista Principal
Wes Coble serves as the administrator at Buena Vista Continuation High School, bringing experience in special education, intervention, athletics, and educational leadership. He holds master’s degrees in Public Administration and Exercise Science & Health Promotion. His leadership focuses on building strong relationships, supporting staff, and creating meaningful opportunities that help every student develop the skills and confidence to succeed.
